• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi from Florida. Everyone is alive and well down here. :ohyea: It's just to :cus: hot down here to be riding in the middle of the day when the temp is very very very close to the 3 dig. :yikes: The air temp is running 105 to 110 and the humidity is the same. We might do a early short ride in the Morning or in the late evening and thats about it. Looking forward to Oct. It's ya'lls (sorry thats southern I ment your) turn to ride and enjoy, and post pics for us now. We can watch from the A/C  Have a safe ride, and lots of fun see you next spyderfest. Remember your riding on a computer so suck it up and bite your tung :chill: when the glitches come up, it's still the best ride ever. JC/CJ

Sure was cooler in NC wasnt it ? Maybe you need to relocate like I did!

We were out yesterday afternoon and it felt like ryding in an oven. When moving at 60 it become one of those new convection ovens. :roflblack: I would love to relocate to the Smoky Mountain area during the summer months, but I still need to work to pay for all my toys. :D

Don't worry JC, it should get cool again real soon while my byke goes in for it's 3rd O2 sensor and I won't be able to ryde. That's the way it was from January up until the Daytona track ryde in March while it was in the shop waiting for an ECM, nice cool ryding weather.
Each day that goes by is pushing me closer to another manufacturer. BMW is starting to look better every day.

Mike, that's the way it was about two weeks ago when Cindy and I rode over to Edisto Beach from Seabrook, S.C., (near Beaufort). It had to have been in the upper 90s and was hotter than.....than....well it was.

Chris

needless to say, my ride from Lexington, ky to home was short lived on tuesday of last week, due to the heat on the superslab. 107 .... at 70 it was like a furnance and I stopped south of Macon, GA in mid afternoon and took a room and left Wed morn 4am arriving in Kissimmee, fl 10:30.

Say it isn't true, :yikes: I keep hearing other :spyder2:riders saying they are haveing problems with there:spyder2:BUT they are still riding their :spyder2: I hope you can get the BUGS out of yours and get back on the road again, we really enjoyed riding with you.

As a former northerner, I ride year round now in Florida. I'll take the heat over the cold ANY day. It is not bad when you are cruising down the road with the breeze. Maybe you people whining about the heat aren't going fast enough?:roflblack:
