Except when you hit a big dragonfly and it explodes on impact any you can no longer see through your shield. :yikes: That calls for a hasty exit from the roadway to get things cleaned up. Always carry extra microfiber towels and a can of cleaning spray in the trunk. :thumbup:

:agree: I always wear a full-face helmet with a full shield... but I still don't like the goop that gets plastered on it when a Kamikazee attack occurs! :shocked:

How much swamp land are you riding in? Dragonflies? Ek gad!

Every night around dusk, they come out and fly around by the hundreds at my place. The nearest pond is about a 1/2 mile away, so I am not sure why they like to hang out here. They are everywhere we go around here though.

Yes, it is very hard to see through them. Think about the beginning of the movie "Men in Black" where the guy is driving the truck and can't see through the windshield. On a side note, birds also make terrible messes when they misjudge your speed and make impact. :shocked: nojoke
