• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oh, what a difference.....

Nice bike. You don't look nearly as geeky today:roflblack:! See you Sunday?

You betcha! Kathy and I will both be there. Kathy really needs to build up her endurance, especially with the Redwoods ryde coming up. We were planning on ryding to Sunriver next weekend for an organized event but that's been cancelled. Perhaps we'll just go there on our own.......maybe catch a hamburger at that famous place in Madras whose business name escapes me. I remember going there once twenty years ago and dumping an entire strawberry shake in my lap!

I looked at them real hard in 1978--but ended up buying a Kawasaki KZ-650--four cylinder. I decked it out with Windjammer fairing and bags, special LTD seat, roll bars and sissy bar. That was a nice looking and running bike and I made several trips from IN to MN on it. I was afraid of the big KZ-1000 in those days--now that is considered a medium size bike at best.

I just liked the ride of the KZ650 better than the Beemer. Still wish I had bought a Beemer though--If they would only put the seats where a 27" inseam can touch the ground. I would be riding a KLT 1600.

I have a Slash 5 now...an R75/5 "Toaster". Fine bike, still very road-worthy. Not as comfortable as my R1100RTP, but still a favorite of mine.
