• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fellow SpyderLovers,

I have never had the pleasure of meeting Dave or Teddy but I have followed Teddy's Adventures since it's inception. I have private messaged Dave a number of times and frankly have become attached to both of them. It's been pretty obvious as of late that because of Teddy's health issues the blog has been quiet and the story lines have changed. I feel it's my responsibility to do something for them and I'd like to reach out to all of you to help me make it happen.

I'd like to start a fund for Teddy's surgery costs and my goal is to raise $1000 today. I will start off by donating $50 and will be sending it to Dave's Paypal account which is [email protected]

Most of us have given to great causes over the years, I think this is one of them. It would be easy if we came together to make this happen. Please help me put this together ........

:gaah:I don't have a pay pal anything :helpsmilie: How can I get a crt. check or money order to Dave??? (I am pretty sure the bank won't take Teddys paw print for a signature. ) Would like to donate a little something to help our MASCOT!!!!

I sent $100. These two buddies are something to admire and bring joy to us all with their great adventures across this great country. We have spent thousands ourselves on our shephard who had cancer. She just recently passed and we have no regrets about spending money we didnt have. We helped her quality of life and she lived another 3 years. God Bless You Dave and Teddy!

Met Dave and Teddy briefly at Spyderfest. I don't post often in their thread, but I do enjoy reading about the adventures. Between Teddy in Cincy and Yaz in Alaska, my evening reading time is much improved.

Hope Teddy gets better, and by the way, I just sent $50 also. Via Paypal.

Just sent my $50.00 through Pay Pal also. Sure hope all goes well for Teddy. Would never want to see them have to sell the Garmin for the surgery. Care for pets can sometimes be more expensive than care for humans! We have 2 dogs ourselves and know that our pets become like our children. Hope Teddy is better soon and maybe we will see them at Lamont's BBQ?!
