• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What kind of Honda is that?

Your wife looks very happy to have it, and that is a good thing. If mama is happy....

It is a Honda

I'm not a big fan of this particular bike but it is a Honda and you probably can't go wrong with that. Thank goodness there are all kinds of machines for us to look at and like. Of course, what matters most is that your beautiful wife is happy with it!! :D.
I certainly appreciate Honda stepping out with new and interesting concepts as well. I test rode the Fury a few months ago and really liked it. One of my favorites of all the bikes is the Rune. Can't afford one of them yet. Maybe in a few more years. I hope the both of you have great success with your machines. Jerry

DN-01, I always thought it was a cross between a Shadow and a Vespa, but it doesn't matter what you ride, just THAT you ride. Hope your wife enjoys her ride.

The DN 1 is supposed to be a nice bike--with the semi-auto tranny and all.

There was some scuttlelbutt that this was Honda's experiment with a semi auto for things like the Gold Wing and maybe a Spyder-type vehicle.

Its higher price was touted as a drawback--but price is relative I guess.

I had one of the 1976 Hondamatics--and that was a pretty neat machine in its day. No shifting--just put it in drive and wind it out---sounded like a jet taking off if you hit it hard enough.

Thanks everybody, well the bike is brand new, msrp was 16k but who in the right mind would spend that kind of cash on a 700cc scooter?
2 years later i picked up the bike for 8900, bought the 5 year warranty for 500,
and it is a fully automatic bike, just point, hit drive and go, it will do about 125mph, it is also a semi auto 6 speed mode, it is fun to drive and man,, it is a conversation starter, usually starting with "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!!!!!"
And again, it is a desperate atempt to convince the wife to give me my spyder back:D

:agree: and thanks for the info, as this is the first time I have ever seen one.

I got this Honda for the wife...

Normally I'd say NICE TRADE...but in this case I woulda kept the wife and skipped the scooter.
