Had our first meet and greet and had 9 spyderlovers there at my site in LGRV park. We plan on going on a ride after registration tomorrow. This is the first year that I have had a computer up here so I will keep you posted as best I can, but I forgot my camera reader so hopefully roger can help out. we will be back around 5 to meet up with him and a few others. Weather looks good for the week, but could change at the flip of a coin. Fred Rau is here and hope to meet up with him again this year. So tomorrow things here will start up even thought Americade doesn't really start till tuesday and things get fairly wild on friday when the kids come into town and the cops get to have there fun. Till tomorrow.

I was coming home from camping Sunday morning and a saw Spyderdude (Shawn) and his two other Spyder friends at my Dunkin Donuts in Amsterdam. Keep in mind there is only one other Spyder in my city and when I saw three together, my jaw dropped. I whipped my truck and Spyder camper in the parking lot and said hello and asked if they needed anything. Great group of guys. Shawn let me sit on his new Spyder, to check out his corbin seat. Boy, thats comfortable.


Hopefully, I will see you all Wendsday morning for the ride. What time are you leaving the RV park to head to the Black Bear for breakfest ???

I know ron said he wants to be at black bear by 7:30 so we could leave by 8:30
so i imagine we will leave the park like 7 maybe a little after.

thanks roger for holding down the fort while I was out riding with other spyderlovers. Yes, we will leave the park at 7AM wednesday and be at the black bear at 7:30AM. Just finished looping The Great Sagandaga Reservoir.

Wish I could be there too but there's just no way with the BBQ and owners event.

A bunch of us eat at the Lobster Pot tonight and had a good time. Talked about the ride for tomorrow. Been to americade for several years and have never seen so many Spyder up here, must be 500, so till tomorrow. P.S. Roger has more bling.

15 minutes after I got home the sky opened up with a severe thunderstom with hail. WOW, I made it home just in time. Thanks for a great ride, I'll post some pics tomorrow. :thumbup:

Wish I was there to join the fun!

Hi all! It's been a while since I've been on these forums. At the moment my Spyder is in sick bay at my dealer. The drive sprocket from my engine is warn and causing a lot of vibration and noise while riding. I didn't think it was a good idea to continue riding until it gets fixed. I just hope that the shaft coming from the engine is not damaged. That would be an expensive fix. Anyhow, I just couldn't make it down to the Americade this year. Maybe later, by the end of summer I'd like to have a ride in Southern Vermont. I'll keep you posted on that. Enjoy your time otherwise!

Looking to do a ride to VT tomorrow....what is your recommendations for a half day ride to there....need to be back to lake George by 2:30....

I wanted to thank rent for arranging the ride today....was a great time and was nice meeting everyone.

And for the people who missed out...too bad because it was a great 250 mile ride!

A lot of laughs...especially about marks new spyder passenger seat mod that his wife robin likes....LOL

Nice job on the pictures. It was great riding to White Face Mountain. Got drenched later, but it was great anyway. Tomorrow the Vermont covered bridges. Next week Laconic!!!! Ride on Spyderlovers....

I passed some spyders today in Rutland one was yellow (a pair)and was at the intersection of rte7 and rte4 headed up to Killington)and have an itch to ride tomorrow. Would love to come over to meet some of you. Are there any rides planned for tomorrow (Sat')? It would be great to ride over there and meet some of you and go for a cruise. NY or VT? Stevehyea:

I'm headed home mid morning, not sure about anyone else. We all had a great time and sorry it's coming to an end.
