• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Am I missing something?

Well today I started reading in the manual about headlight adjustment. Mine seem fine at night but I did notice that the pictures in the manual do not look like my :spyder2: looks like. I don't have anything that would adjust the low beams. I played around a little with the adjustment marked HB but I think all it does is raise or lower the shield over the bulbs. Am I missing something or is this normal for the 2011 RT-S models? The picture is from the right side but both sides are the same.

You are not missing anything. They are all like that and yes you are adjusting the shield. Lomont has the prototype and as far as I know is the only one who had both the HB and LB adjustments. I think the LB adjustment must have been scraped for production.

The pic in the book shows the Euro model. Our US models have only the HB adjustment. I agree that the RT appears to adjust the shutter, instead of the aim of the projector lens, as the adjustment on the GS/RS does.

Wow, thanks for the quick replies. This is part of what makes SpyderLovers the best, all of the knowledgable and helpful people here.

So the Euro-ryders get all of the good parts... Is there any practical way to get access to and adapt them onto our North American Spyders??
(The low beam adjuster...)

not missing something

Well my 2010 RT-S has 2 adjusters on rt side and 1 on the left PE-305.
So much on pre production theory...:lecturef_smilie:...
