Looking for Info. on how different Spyder owners lock up their Spyders other than using the key when parked at night or any place other than home when on trips. Thanks for any suggestions.

No need...stop the bike, put on the parking brake, turn the handlebars and lock them one way or the other, and you're done...many leave the bike in first gear as well...that's a good idea too.
Okay, now you have me thinking. I thought you could only lock the handle bars when turned to the left. I guess when I get offline I will have to check it out.
I use a heavy duty lock from u-haul. Ilock it thu the rear disk brake. just don`t forget it`s there!!!!!!!!

You can lock them in either direction...
I thought about doing this but I'm 100% positive at some point I'm going to forget its there.
Yup- and then you'll have some serious damage to repair.
I leave the key in mine all the time (IPS) - just don't worry about it ----carry good insurance.
Okay, went and checked it out. Yes, you can lock it either direction. Funny all this time I thought it had to face the left side.
Thanks to Spyderwolf for this picture. This is MY deterrent system (besides a 9mm). I actually have it on my "glovebox" (the sticker):roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
Here you go!
