Annual Mileage

Based on my riding habits I average at least 6,000 miles a year. I have been told that is high mileage. :hun::dontknow:

Anyway, we'll be getting our new Spyder in a couple of weeks and I was wondering how many miles ya'll average a year and what you consider high mileage on a Spyder.

I'm thinking with proper maintenance we should expect to get at least 100,000 miles out of the 2011 RTS Limited.

Most Spyder Ryders I know ride at least 12000 miles per year (its much easier riding than a two wheeler), and it not uncommon for some to do 25000 or more....that's my target for this year

Bought in July 09...so..20 months, less 6 months in the shop:gaah:,
so 14 months of actual rydin, and I'm at 18.5K
It's been runnin great since Sept.:thumbup:

Thanks for the responses. Our street legal vehicles, in addition to the Spyder are a 2007 Corvette convertible, 2007 Ford 500, and 2009 Ford F-150. So, you see we like riding around with the top down. Our weekend outings are generally in something sporty. I'm thinking I'll be putting a lot of miles on the Spyder.hyea:

15,000 since May 2010...getting ready for a 6 week trip... home 3 weeks and off again for maybe 3 or 4 weeks.....

The last two years, I did about 19K each season--March through October. Mostly on my Spyder--but now putting some miles on my Vulcan. Hope to do the same this year. Will not catch up to Doc though.

My RT is 1 year old. I have 19,500 mi on it.

Our RT has 15009mi in one year. Getting ready to put about 3,000 more on or so going to Cuba, Mo jc

11k last year... this year might only be 4 or 5 k as work and new baby has me somewhat in a corner. :thumbup: Which is alright for now.

6,000 mile almost to the money for me for the year. Thats pretty good seeing it been parked from November to May due to a thing called winter in Maine.

I am at a little over 140,000 Spyder miles since February 17, 2008. The first year, I was also riding a Harley. 2008 GS SM5 = 36,500 miles. 2009 GS SM5 = 98,500 miles. 2011 RT SM5 = 5,000+ miles.
