• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The little info cards...

I have noticed that some times people kind of stand a ways off and just spy the Spyder. The other day Went into a store and saw someone hanging out but not approaching and so I left one of the little cards on the seat. When I came back the card was gone. I was thinking I am going to do this more often.

:dontknow:
The wind probably blew the card off, Careful you don't get a ticket for littering.:D:roflblack:

This past Saturday I put the Spyder in a car show and I was working at a Lions Club booth....I made a 8X10 color glossy in a picture stand with a pink basket full of Can-am fold out card with cards from the dealership and from the guy who installed my wrap. The cards went fast...I plan to carry a few on the bike.

Over the past 6-7 months, I've given out so many of these cards, I've lost count and actually had to reorder another 50-card pack ($24.00!). I've learned to put little labels on them with my name, phone number, email address, personal website AND SPIDERLOVERS.COM website, as well. Hopefully when one of the people I give the card to buys an RT-S, the dealer will give me a deep discount on my next Spyder! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Yeah that was the second one I gave out in as many rydes and I think I am going to have to get more. You would think BRP would make those available to ryders for free. :dontknow: oh well I guess I'll just have to buy more. :ohyea:

You would think you would be able to get these for free from your dealership. I also would like to see a program similar to what the satellite TV providers have that gives you a credit for referring a friend. Lets say that if I give someone a certificate that results in a Spyder sale then I get some discount on some accessories. Maybe I should apply for a BRP marketing position. :roflblack:

I have mine in the RT... Always run into someone asking about it.:ohyea:

Like the other day I went to pick up my wife for lunch while she was on break from the MSF course. When I rode up in Gray :spyder2:, a couple of the students came over asking about Gray. Gave out the cards just for that.

I get my info fold-out cards from the dealer...along with cards from one of the sales-people.....

Great idea but also fix the label to SpyderLovers.com Remember the "y" not the "i".

They come in the "New Owner" packet that BRP mails out to you... Usually about 30-90 days after purchase...:spyder2:

Thanks. I bought my bike from a private owner so that's why I didn't know where to get them. Now then, how can I get them? What kind of information is on the cards?
