As I reported earlier, I had a problem with the new RTS, where the rear suspension could only be operated in manual mode, showing a warning on the display. The problem shows no codes when hooked up to BUDS. This was not the same problem some had reported, where the suspension pumped all the was up, then reverted to manual mode. That problem was caused by a missing bolt in the ACS Position Sensor link.
This problem is caused by the ACS Position Sensor limits being set to the same value for both high and low positions. The system immediately reverts to manual mode. My dealer took care of my problem today, by relalibrating the suspension and resetting the ACS snsor limits. BRP has just issued a Warranty Campaign 2011-006 (dated 4/8/2011?), addressing this issue. Evidently not all the 2011 RTS and Limited Spyders will exhibit this problem, but if your system does not show the ride height gauge, but instead reverts to manual when you press the adjusting button, see your dealer to have this Service Bulletin performed. Damage to the rear suspension could result if you don't.
