• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. To Hillbilly Hot Dog's and back, this will be an all day event. We will be crossing into West Virginia so be sure to have your helmets. Rob and I rode down there last year and we had a great time. I am hoping to make this an annual event because of the beautiful scenery and twisties on the ride. We will meet at Ask Powersports in Lancaster, Ohio at 9:00AM and we will leave at 10:00 am. I have marked the full route on the map. This route is motorcycle friendly so if you have a two wheel friend that would like to ride along they are welcome. I also included the website to Hillbilly Hot Dog's, this is truly a unique place. Here is the website. http://www.hillbillyhotdogs.com/ http://www.askpowersports.com/[move](((((( HELMETS ARE REQUIRED IN WEST VIRGINIA ))))))[/move]

I will be in Chicago this weekend for a work Seminar or I would love to do this ride. West Virginia is so beautiful and I think overlooked as a great place to ride by many. One day soon, I will hit the roads down there. I have been there 3 times whitewater rafting and just love it.

I did a partial pre-ride of this route Sunday. Ended up not going all the way to the Ohio River but almost. All together I covered probably 2/3 of the whole path.

This route is very nice and scenic. Coming out of Lancaster on 37 headed East towards route 13 to New Lex is just a precursor to what is in store. Plenty of places to stretch your Spyder legs. Unless the wind is blowing all wrong everyone will get a real good whiff of the Rolston food factory on the way out of town. Smells like grandma baking muffins.

Route 13 is a pure gem to ride. By the time you finish this part of the route if you did't have a good feel for how your Spyder handles, I guarantee by the time you hit Athens... you will. hairpins curves, negative g's, long sweepers, multiple 90 turns, S curves (sometimes several in a row  ), steep inclines, this road has it all. Wow, what an amazing run!! You will be giving the clutch a solid workout too. People who live in and around this part of Ohio do an excellent job underselling this road. Probably because they like to keep it to themselves...i would.

Route 93 on the way back North is not as aggressive as 13 but you'll still have a lot of fun and after riding 1/2 day to W. Virginia to get your fill of custom hot dogs and you'll appreciate not having to run through the gears as much as the ride South.

We could not have picked a better 1st ride for the OSR club. Bring your cameras and GoPro's, you'll want to share this experience.

Wanted to comment even though I'm not a Spyder owner no more, still a Spyder lover though. This last Saturday me and a few friends went to Hillbilly Hotdogs. We went to the one in Chesapeake Oh though because one person didn't have a helmet. We had a great ride. We took 32 East from Piketon and caught 93 South in Jackson. Then took 52 east once we got to Ironton. 93 was a nice road except for a slow camper for several miles. He finally caught the hint to pull over after a line of cars was behind him. I had 2 Hillbillys, fries and a soda for $6. Great food. Enjoy your trip!!;)

DaGrlz plus one motorcycle will be there

As long as the weather holds out DaGrlz plus our friends on their motorcycle will be there.

Early forecast is in. At least the day before (Friday) is looking to be a Bluebird day so good chance that good weather will carry over to the next day.:clap::clap:

Hate schedule conflicts. We've got a trip planned to TN already or we'd be on this one. I really want to visit that hotdog place.

Plenty more rides scheduled. Already talking about next years rides. Even mixing things up with other things to do besides group rides.

We're trying to be creative, keep things fresh and fun. Bottom line, we want to share our passion for these incredible machines and sincerely appreciate others taking their valuable time and effort to come join us.

Just wait until the GoPro movies get published. :D

3 days out and the sky's are starting to look a lot better. Mid 70's and no rain predicted. No idea how many people are really going to show up. :dontknow: Should be at least 15 Spyders and a few 2 wheelers.

Hill Billy  Hot dog  has been contacted to expect a good sized group.

OSR Club trailer will be making it's debut.
One thing for sure, it's going to be a GREAT day for a ryde. :D
Thank you  Mother Nature.

It's going to be in the mid 70's during the ryde, mid 80's when we get to the Hill Billy Hot Dog place, less than 10% chance of showers all day.

Perfect day for a ryde through some of the most scenic parts of Ohio...hope to see some new faces in the morning.

Engines get started promptly at 10 AM!

20 Spyders and other 2 wheelers in attendance.
