• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

e-Tint® AX-9 visor insert

Oh No, another toy for Doc. Lets see now, Pre-ryde checklist consists of :
Charge Scala, Charge Xoom, Check batteries in Spot-connect, and now charge face visor. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

All kidding aside, I got a chance to see this work and it looks great. I like the automatic version like you have.

Hey Doc

Did you get the wide screen TV on your Spyder yet??:ohyea:;)
Not yet...:roflblack:

Perfect timing on posting this!!!!!
I'm about to pull the trigger on a new helmet but the one I want doesn't have internal sun visor-which I really like having.

Little more research, but I think this is the answer to my problem!

Free Delivery

Racer's Parts Wholesale is here in Indy. If any of you need anything that I can pick up and bring to Cuba, let me know. I'll be trailering the spyder so I will have plenty of room. I can take Paypal. Plus, as I recall, if I pick it up and pay cash, there is a 5% discount.

Trailering?????

Pretty sure TrailerFest isn't until November-- and is NOT in Cuba.... :roflblack:

Doc,how effective is the visor?? Worth the money??

I'll have mine later this week. Went for the MX-9 unit--- sleeker look and has auto-dim settings you can use. The battery is built into the frame on the MX-9m where on the MX-8 you have a battery holder that you have to stick to the outside of the shield....

Gonna mount this bad boy in my new helmet I get later this week--- Nexx XR1R Carbon..... :2thumbs:

I did a little research and decided to order.Got the AX-9 and I will be attaching it to an RF1100.I find the fit uncomfortable with shades on but it is my favorite helmut, the AX-9 should do the trick. Thanks for the input, guys.

Got my MX-9 visor today... just waiting for my helmet to come in (tomorrow).

It seems to work well--- but it would be nice if it went darker......
