We have the BRP ST-1 hybrid helmets. It gives us the best of all worlds. Full face, vented full face, and 3/4 helmet. We usually wear the vented full face unless it gets really cold, then we just trade out the jaw to the solid. We carry the spare jaws in the saddlebags. We read the reviews on WebBike.com. We have back problems and found these were as lightwieght as the come.

You won't find the perfect helmet with the first one you buy ---- most of us own a collection---- I'm down to 5 right now--- and looking at another one soon.
www.webbikeworld.com does a good job of reviews on various models.
I'm currently looking at one of these:

Lightest full face helmet made -- just wish it had an internal sun screen.
That Nexx looks like a great helmet. I've been looking at it since I read the review on it several months ago. Just wish I could try one on. As you said, very light with great Peripheral vision. Just waiting for it to come down a few hundred dollars. You won't find the perfect helmet with the first one you buy ---- most of us own a collection---- I'm down to 5 right now--- and looking at another one soon.
