• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Overheating

Spring has finally come and I took my RS on a short ride (40 miles) in 87 degree temps. When I returned and parked in my garage I dumped about 6 oz. of coolant on the floor. I know this because this is how much I put back in. What's up about that? This appears to have come out of the overflow hose and I don't see any splits in the tank itself. I've had this recently serviced and nothing appeared out of the ordinary. Any help would be appreciated.

Ride it again - bring coolant with you... See if it repeats.

I had this happening on and off for a month... Was a loose hose clamp.

I had 2 coolant reservoir replaced and waiting for 3rd and they always leak at seam and only when it's engine is hot and stops leaking when coolant level is below the seam line and none of them had signs of damage. On 2nd and 3rd bad reservoir, I could feel where it was leaking from with my finger.

Other possibility is that your cap was not tightened correctly and that is very very easy to happen.

:dontknow:
Possible that they over filled the tank when it was serviced [filled to the max when cold] Or did not tighten the cap which would also cause coolant to come out the overflow tube,.

This is one of the first things to check. Thew cap needs to be tightened to the second detent, or it will puke coolant.
