• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm afraid I've made a terrible mistake

As you know, I rode my spyder home last week. I bought it as a gradsuation present to myself. I am one term away from completing my PharmD degree.

Here's where I may have made my mistake...now in the nights when it is dusky and the world is quieting down...when i should be studying....all i can think of is being on the bike for a nice quiet evening ride in the country....(this will be my hardest term ever!):helpsmilie:

I'm Afraid there's no pill for that,You'll just have to ride till you get it out of your system [not likely]:roflblack::yes::roflblack:

You have been officially bitten.. This will take quite a bit of self discipline because I don't foresee you getting the need to ride out of your system. As the weather gets better it is going to get worse...LOL. By the way, watch the MI forum, I have some ride ideas coming up that I will be posting soon.

The Spyder addiction runs deep, and once you have been bitten there is no escaping it. Best of luck getting through your studies.

Simple solution (I'm back at school too)...ride the bike to school...so, you get your work done, get to class, and get your ride fix!

I agree. I used to HATE the commute in. Now It's the best part of my day. And with the Sun out longer, one can hang in the wind just a bit more. Stress levels do go down! :doorag:

Oh yeah, I hear that. I enjoy my job, but some days at work, like anywhere I guess, are a little stressful. Part of the each day for me (because I ryde year-round in all weather - my spyder is my only vehicle by choice) is the early morning commutes with the sunrise (when it does shine here in Newfoundland, haha), little to no traffic outside of rush hour, and taking the long way home on the commute after work.:thumbup::thumbup: Seriously does wonders for the body/mind/soul.

Keep studying. You'll be able to afford many more spyders like this one.

ksbrook55: All in all, I guess there is a balance to be maintained here. Find that sweet spot and stick to it - where you are getting your ryding time in and studies done - giving it your all. You are just about done! GO FOR IT!

Cheers, ryde safe and all the best, from Newfoundland.

For the next few weeks anyway when you get the urge to ride just look at the thermometer and the temps in the teens and twenties should keep you studying. Good luck.
