When the Spyder first came out it was called a GS, Then at some point they changed it to RS. So the GS and RS are the same.hyea:

In 2010 they changed the designation from GS to RS.

Thanks for the answers. All this time I have been calling my '09 an RS when in reality it should be a GS if the designation didn't change until 2010. :gaah:

As far as I'm concerned they're identical. We have two GS's but I consider them RS's. As far as I know there are no physical differences other than the "Spyder RS" badge near the rear signals. I usually say we have GS/RS models.

Gran Sport.

It's Grand Sport actually.

Gran Sport would also be my guess. As mentioned earlier--no difference from RS---just an idea change by BRP.
