There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Repair advice

In line at a gas station today and a lady backed up into the left front fender and lower frunk area. I straightened out the fender brace and replaced the fender tip light so I could ride home. When I am driving the handlebars are now off set when I want to go straight ahead. Now the question. Besides an alignment what else should I be aware of that might have been damaged. The insurance adjuster has not looked at the bike yet but he had never seen a spyder and was going to get more information on them before he came out to look at it. Will take it to a dealer to have them look at it and estimate the repair cost. Any suggestions or recommendations will be appreciated.

Take photos of the damage. I know you have, but just a reminder. I buy disposable cameras at Wal-Mart and carry them in my vehicles....ya never know when you will need them. Nothing like a few photos to show the adjuster, jury, attorney...whatever....cheap insurance...

As long as you have a competent dealer I would not worry about the insurance appraisers estimate. It is only a preliminary estimate, and your dealer will be able to contact the insurance company and have them reinspect for any repairs that are required to put your baby back the way it was before the accident. The appraiser will write what he is able to see and it's the repair facilities job to get a supplement on anything that was missed.

Just a thought...if the adjuster has never done a Spyder, it may be a good idea to get the Spyder to the dealer and leave it there and let them tell the adjuster what is apparent. The adjuster will have no clue at your house. I have heard of people having big issues with insurance repairs when the adjuster's report and the true repairs needed don't match.

:agree: Take lots of pictures from every angle and take it to your dealer (:helpsmilie:or find a GOOD dealer if yours is not).

Similar thing happened to us on the right front fender last when a Yukon backed up and T-boned the RT at a gas station when I was waiting to gas up at the end of our vacation. :yikes: Thankfully, it didn't mess up the alignment and we only had to replace the fender mounts and a side panel.

Glad you're okay. Hope you get your Spyder fixed and back on the road soon.

:agree:Eather leave it at the dealer or meet the adjuster at the dealer'.
A good dealer will know now to handle an insurance claim.

If your steering is off, there probably was some suspension or steering damage...I'd guess a tie-rod. There are a lot of other possibilities. The dealer should tear off the trunk to search thoroughly.
