There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I might be on engine 3

well I called today and I guess when the wrench was putting the engine back together he did not like the cylinder wall and called brp and ordered one on monday, it was not there today and should be there tomorrow so it should be done on tuesday of next week or hopefully earlier.

SO good news that is being done right but bad that is not done.

it was 35 degrees up here today, man my arm is getting strong from throwing rocks at the neighbors kids, they are getting quick too.

You know, it sucks that they didn't catch it when they originally ordered everything else, but on the flip side, it's good that they caught it. Hopefully riding conditions will be very good when you get the death machine back. I guess you'll have to do kind of a break-in on the new parts for a little bit, eh?

Glad to hear they are making progress, but sorry to hear they still don't have it done yet.

Have they said anything about your request to put the 2011 sprocket on yet? I was told that something was different about the 2011 clutch as well in order to work in conjunction with the 2011 front sprocket. Please let us know what you find out on that front.

Best of luck getting your Spyder back before you throw your shoulder out of joint with those rocks.

they did talk to brp about this and they said NOT to just change the front pulley so it was probably the clutch thing they were talking about had to be changed too. but its looking like monday which is my first day off since last monday, saving the world was pretty busy last night.

It is starting to be annoying this type of BRP corporate secrecy in regards to year by year upgrades: if they decide to change the RS's sprocket + clutch= why? :dontknow::popcorn:

Thanks for the clarification on what I suspected. Are you going to have them change out whatever needs to be done to put the 2011 pulley on there, or just go with the standard one again?

I guess they will not do that as of right now and if it breaks during spyderfest I am going to make a trip to canada...

hopefully it should be done on monday.

the spyder is being put back together, the wrench said the dead deer parts and hATe are getting in the way of putting the engine back in.Its same or similar to Christine the Stephen king short story.... maybe tomorrow or wednesday.

its running, small oil leak they thinked they fixed it so they are going to call, its 50 degrees up here, the best day of the year and here I sit. I am going to run down and get it as soon as I know.

That's very good news, Seth. I know you must be chompin' at the bit to get the death machine back! Sounds like that day just might be today. :2thumbs:

got her back just now was up early and now I have to crash out to work all night, got some pics up of what happened. St clouds honda house wrench vic is pretty good, got it back together and out of there.

the bottom pics are of the recent rebuild, the top ring in the front cylinder worked back and forth so hard that the piston warped, the back one that I had rebuild in florida is only at 5% leak down, for it to be a issue it has to be over 30 % so vic thought that was awesome.
