• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was surprised when I got home last night from a long day at work. I forgot all about it. I had gone online and registered after buying my phantom from a guy in new jersey.

I was like a little kid on christmas when I was opening it up last night. Its just the little things in life that make the big impression.

You are lucky.
I purchased my :spyder2: last February. A 2009 new and I never received a welcome package from BRP.
I might look you up some day and we can go for a ride around our great state oif PA.
I live outside of Wilkes-Barre.

:congrats: on your new Spyder and the new owners kit. The little info fold-out cards are wonderful. But give them out sparingly. I gave out the 20 that they sent me in a little over three months and contacted my dealer to replenish my supply. The charged me $24 for a package of 50 cards! In essence, BRP's charging ME to advertise and sell THEIR product. What's wrong with this picture. :gaah: I don't mean to come across as negative and rain on your parade, believe me. I love the owners kit (and I did order more cards!). One thing I did do to the cards, however. I printed up little labels with my name, phone number, personal website and spyderlovers.com website and stuck one to each of the cards, partially covering the RS :D (I ryde an RT-S!).

Sounds great my wife and I are always up for a good ride. We could meet near mt Pocono. I believe there is another spyderlover there.

Are you registered on their website? Since I bought mine from a private party used, I just on the web and registered. Your dealer might not have done that for you.

Got my welcome package today!!

Got a cool patch for my jacket and a pin.

Nice to be recognized even though a small gesture, Can Am rocks!

Your in..!!

looks like they found the box with all the welcome packets they sent to the post office a while back and sent them out...!! :roflblack::roflblack:

The dealer ripped you off if they charged you for a packet of cards to give out as advertising. What a cheapskate place  They get my vote for the stay away from at all cost category.

Last year i bought a 2012 RT-S SE5 I got my Welcome package with a Catalog, cards and a patch, in the mail in Aug. 2012. I think that is a good idea printing your name, phone # and This website on the cards that came with the Welcome package.

i bought my bike in june of this year and never received a welcome package. but what you just reminded of was back in 1992 i bought a new ford bronco and a few days later a large box showed up that was very light and marked all over THIS SIDE UP. so when i opened the box 3 balloons popped out saying congratulations on them and they were attached to the bottom of the box with tape. i thought that was a great sales idea

I got my welcome package Sat. 10/26/13, I bought my Spyder 7/27/13. I guess they send them out in batches, quarterly. It would have been nice to get the 20% off coupon when I bought the Spyder not 3 months later after I bought all my riding gear.
