• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well my 3 year warranty is almost up so I called the dealership for prices. They said they offer 4 additional years through cornerstone. Anyone have this coverage and how'd you like it compared to the factory warranty?

Honestly, only heard horror stories of after-market warranties...go with BEST and nothing else...search here about the problems people have had.

I had one issue and the BRP BEST warranty worked like a charm...wouldn't go any other way...

The dealer never gave me the option for B.E.S.T, wasn't aware it was still avaliable. If so who in canada offer it?

:agree:

I believe he means additional warrenty AFTER the BEST has ran out.

With the BEST you can go a full 5 years.... 3 years after the 2 year factory.

No one has hit that mark yet - 2012 should be the first time a person could hit that if they got the whole 3 year BEST--- and there's no need to extended the warranty beyond 2012 because the world won't be here anymore----:D BRP obviously knew this and was looking out for our BEST interests.....:roflblack:

Maybe he only got a 1 or 2 year BEST ??

Some folks had a three year warranty from the start...two years standard, and an added one year BEST. It was a BRP promotion.

I wish I had that promotion, would have saved me $2200 for the front sprocket that was not covered by Western Services.

Thanks I will give the dealer a dingle on that.

I added an additional 2 years after the one year promotional extension. I had to do it while the BEST was still in effect. A bit pricey from what I recall, but worth the peace of mind. (I am in Ontario, so it should be available to you too)

I got an email back and I can get the b.e.s.t at 1 year for $1600 or 2 for 1800. With a $50 deductable, i'm not sure if thats everytime or a one time deal like before.
