• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

miss the lean angle ?

.....this one leans like a proper bike.

Here we go again! :bdh:

No thanks! We do not need more mechanical complexity on top of the electronic complexity we already have. JMHO

I enjoy the uniqueness of handling as it is. It is not lacking in my opinion, only different. To throw leaning into the equation takes away some of that uniqueness and I would not like that. The idea is not new if you consider the Piaggio MP3. I suppose for those who cannot do two wheels and want that type of handling it could be a good thing, but I'd rather ride my two wheeler if I wanted to experience a two wheeler ride.

Something to keep in mind... It is not unusual for a company to secure a patent for a particular design to block others from doing it. And or to make sure they get royalties for the permission to use it... There is a good chance this will be 5+ years away if ever on a BRP lot near you...

THAT'S what they're for?? All I ever managed to do with them is trip over them and scuff my forehead in the dirt... :D
Oh! They're also kind of useful for tying a bike down for transport!

I ground one down to the hollow coming out of the Lincoln Tunnel many years ago [CB750]
Saved the bike, but not my elbow.:opps:

Leaning Spyder Question?

Would this leaning Spyder steer like an existing one or would counter steering be involved like a 2 wheeler?

Old Dog :dontknow:

Spyderless for the moment...

Life takes priority over toys:popcorn:

I don't believe the spyder is lacking, I think that it will taylor to a whole new group of people bringing them into the spyder world. I also dont believe that BRP would just change the line completely to leaning spyders. I think it will be another model like we were talking about in another thread. There will be a RT, a RS, and then the leaning one. Any ideas on a name? TS=Top Secret, SF=Street Fighter, RX=Roadster Xtreme (the only prescription [RX] you need), LOATT=Leaning Open Air Transportation Thingy? :roflblack:

if you look at the picture - the back-wheel is also leaning .. the reason that was able to protect the idea ??
is the plan a leaning-Buell-Hybrid-Monster ...
thats mine !!!
