Big difference on my rt with the JB pro. Better idle more acceleration.

Been looking at this and not sure if it's all talk or not. Does any one out there have the 2 brothers juice box on there spyder? If so what do you think about it? Can you truly tell the diff with or with out it?
Arguss:dontknow:
I average 27 or so around town and 31 highway, check my mods to see what I'm running but I believe I'm pretty average with what I have installed....Is anyone getting better gas mileage with it as well as the increased performance?
Why don't they formulate a MAP-4 for setups with a free flow exhaust paired with free flow intake? Thats the only reason I've stuck with the original JB but I realize the Pro with the right map would be better....For the JB Pro, the stored maps that come with it are something like this....
Map 0 - JB off - Stock mapping
Map 1 - JB adjusted for stock spyder, stock pipe, and air filter. ( This is probably the one you should run if your spyder is bone stock)
Map 2 - JB adjusted for single two bros pipe.
Map 3 - JB adjusted for dual two bros pipe.
Running map 2 or 3 with a stock spyder may make it run better, but it may also foul your plugs.
I'm running Map 1 with the kewl metal intake and stock pipe... and the bike runs great, but I have some issues with plugs... Two Brothers pipe is being ordered shortly and that should resolve things for me.
You can also adjust the JB output via dials on the unit without adjusting maps with a computer.
Problem with the JB pro... Is that you really can't make your own maps realistically unless you have a dyno. If you look at the maps that come with the JB Pro for the Spyder, you can tell they spent a lot of time looking at the spyder's performance on a dyno - adding or taking fuel away at specific RPM's and throttle positions.
In my case, the kewl metal air intake caused me to run too lean, and map 1 solved that but causes me to run a bit rich, but better. I put off the pipe for various reasons, but wanted the intake for easier access to the right side of the motor.
So... hopefully the pipe brings out the value of having the JB pro on the machine.

To quote Jay Leno....exactly, exactlyI was on the phone with TBR this week for questions installing the JB PRO in my RT and asked them about getting a map for a free flow exhaust paired with free flow intake. They told me they would get back to me but I never heard more.
I know that Dave has also tried to get this map for an RT without success so far. Maybe they are not listening until we yell loud enough. maybe we should all call TBR customer service to get their attention! How tough can it be to give us a map needed by a lot of their customers ?

Even so, Two Bros would probably sell a lot more JB Pros if they made the effort....I would tell you why, but the answer is already in the supplied maps. Two Bros is only going to make maps for the stuff they make. That is the reason you see only maps for bone stock and with their pipes. They do not make an intake or air filter for the Spyder, so they have not factored a different filter into the mix.
So... the implied value proposition from Two Bros is the coupling of the JB with one of their pipes.
Sucks... But lets assume that the maps they made for their pipes are very precise... Any map they made for 'free" flowing intake and exhaust would be probably off the mark as they would have no idea what "free flowing" parts you were using.
I am reminded of the old saying, "You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar." It doesn't pay to tick off Santa Claus, IMO.I called the TBR customer service line again today, no answer, but I left them a long voice mail requesting the map. I am also going to request a local dealer to harass them. Maybe we can get some results if enough customers call !

Hope I am able to help here...I thought the two bro top tune kit came with a free flow filter. So they sell the pipe and a filter so why not a map for both.:dontknow:
