There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. RS-S fog light options?

Sooooooooooooooo... In my "Childish" moments of research I failed to recognize that the RS-S's do not come with fog lights. :cus: (Compared to my adult moments :roflblack:)

I sure as heck do not like the idea of spending $300-400 for them either from Can Am, just to pull them apart and place HID's in them inflating the price to a silly number.

I see ESI has some Pucks... Can those be mounted in the factory fog light position?

Or does anyone have other suggestions or even a used pair of housings I could buy and convert to HID's? Thanks!

That is an interesting dilemma, as I figured the RS-S would come with the fog lights stock as well. :dontknow:

Unfortunately, at this point, you may be stuck with looking for used ones. They actually come with new black plastic intakes the lights are mounted to. You may be able to find some aftermarket fog lights to fit in the hole, but I think you might have to get creative with the mounting.

The ESI pucks come already mounted in a housing for placement on the front spoiler. While they do give off quite a bit of bright white light, they are more like a day time running lamp than an actual driving light.

Hopefully someone else will chime in with some more options for you. Best of luck in your search.

I've tried many, bulbs and other lights BUT nothing looks right and good as brp fog. You can get them in upper $200 on eBay with little patience. There were one for 260 and 280 last week.
I think at least headlight should be Hid if not both but I would go with 6k led bulb in fogs assumming you r getting 6k HID headlight.

I am leaning toward brp hid plus 6k piaa led bulb in fog on next spyder. Off if eBay, of course.

Might work as fog lights, certainly adds to the visibility at night similar to fogs...

:agree:Nothing fits like an OEM. If you wanna play, ya gotta pay. What's another $300 bucks when you have a $20,000 bike??? BRP knows the "Boomers" are rich and loaded with cash.:roflblack:

lol....

Yeah yeah yeah... But I am already @ $3000+ as it is in accessories, and the bike is four days old!. I am trying to play it smart and not just throw $$ away

Did I mention we are in the process of buying a new home at the same time? Talk about expenses! :roflblack::cus:

Only $3,000 dollars in accessories? Dang ... you are low on the spending curve. Most of these accessory happy ryders are in the $4K-$5K range. And since you are getting a house, why not just roll the entire Spyder purchase plus all the accessories you can possibily think of into the mortgage that way you got 30 years to pay.:D J/K

Congrats on the new house. Fiscal discipline is a good thing ... wish my state government would do that.
