• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

6000 mile srvice, new oil leaks

After 6000 mile service my Spyder developed new oil leaks. Left side, front and on the right. Airbox was cleaned and I have a catch can installed. The oil seems to drip from the lower frame. Any thoughts/suggestions?

A spill would be my guess, too, although there are other possibilities. Any time a problem develops immediately after service...it is usually related to a mistake that was made during that work.

Mine developed a leak too as evidenced by a sudden and growing stain in the garage.

Try to get them to admit they made a mistake and shouldn't charge you. lol

OverFill?

I see manual capacity at 4.5 qts but see that dealers routinely put in 5 qts.. Did you check you level for overfill??

:dontknow:
Very limited info to go on, But sometimes a mechanic will forget what wipe down rags are for,
And then you'll have some residual dripping, especially with Syn. oil.:popcorn:

If you clean it all and still have one on the right side-- it could be the oil pressure sensor--- been there --- done that. $10 part-- easy to replace.
