• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Strange parts find?

Someone on ebay is parting out a crashed spyder -- and I've bought some various spare parts from them.

One set of parts that I bought came with some other black 'brackets' that I can't seem to figure out what in the world they are.

Any ideas?

No -- they sent the right box - it contained all the parts they had listed in the auction -- and I got the parts I really wanted -- just not sure what the heck these were for.

They're really well built units and I doubt they were home-done, so probably some kind of kit.

I contacted the seller to see if they know.

Certainly could be-- never seen the Corbin brackets before......

Just checked Corbin website and looked at some install pics ---- these indeed are Corbin brackets. Not sure why there are so many though.....

Guess I've got spares if anyone needs them----- ;-)

They are indeed bag brackets for Corbin bags.

I have an extra set here in the shop just like these.

They had a fitment problem with the early ones not allowing the rear foot pegs to fold all the way without hitting the bags. I'll bet these are the replacements as well as the orginals.

Ahh-- makes sense. Thanks for the info. It seems I have 3 of one side and 1 of the other. Oh well --- wasn't anything I was planning on using anyhow. Got them and a bunch of other BRP parts (extra sport rack plate, foot peg brackets, etc.) for $29.

Are y'all sure it is the corbin brackets cause it looks like the bracket that holds the flux capacitor to me.:roflblack:
