• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Motorcycle Study Survey Card

This does smell alot like a Honda probe!! Not so sure about the electric motor factor. Part of the experience is hearing that engine sing man! I don't think I would like an all-electric power plant for a number of reasons. That's just me though!

Good info Doc!

Brandspark is just a marketing firm. They work for money. The question is not "who is Brandspark?" The question is " Who is paying them for this?"

That info will not likely be public....and it could be anybody (including Honda)

Long for some, short for others. Next question dependent on how you answer current questions. If you respond you own a spyder questions will be geared towards spyder. Basic market research- they will likely try repackage the data and sell it to other manufacturers unless the sponsor of the research paid a premium.

I got the card as well, but haven't done anything with it yet. Not sure if I will or not at this point either. $500 sounds good, but everytime I fill out one of these surveys with a chance for winning money, I don't win and am not sure anyone else does either. :dontknow:

I,ll bet in a LOT of cases no one wins. Who can prove it?:dontknow:

You Skeptic you!! :roflblack: :roflblack:

No such thing as a free lunch! :D

Now, to be really skeptical, where did they get all of our information in the first place? Did BRP provide them with a list of owners to survey, or did a different company check some sort of registration records? Or worse yet, did someone sell our information to them? :dontknow:

Got mine. Filled it out. Wasn't sure how to answer the questions concerning the things I was looking for when purchasing. I just knew that I wanted THAT machine when I saw it.

Ahh what happens if you all win?:roflblack:

After a email from SpyderWolf, I filed it. So you all have a better chance to win and get a share of the money.

I wonder how many Harley, BMW and Crotch Rocket owner's got this mailing?

I participated in the $500 survey mailed from Niagara Falls. I feel this survey most certainly came from BRP. It had the terminology which is BRP's corporate signature. There is no doubt in my mind.

The survey was way too long. I stayed with it to the end, only because I wanted to help BRP. I am not sure they learned anything of value from my answers.

Well, so much for the hope that some other manufacturer was interested in making a reverse trike.

:agree: only hope we help shape future models.

I am inclined to think they got the info from some registration records because I would hate to think the MVA here gave out my info. Reason I say that is because on my card, they have it addressed (as far as my name goes) the same exact way my info is printed out on my title. What makes mine a little different anyway (and some others may have done it as well) is that my Spyder is in my name only but I have it specified to transfer ownership to someone else in case something were to happen to me and I pass away so on my title I have the letters TOD and it is the same exact way they have my survey card addressed and that is to include the other person's name.

That looks like BRP's territory, Doc: Max is probably one of their marketing managers.
