• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:chat: It appears as though it's going to be a while before my dealer has a DPS unit for me and I was planning on getting the EVO performance sway bar anyway, so my question for all of you is:
Should I install the sway bar first, or wait until the DPS is done so I can better guage the difference?
Any and all input will be appreciated.
Thanks,

Thanks,

Since you asked, here is my opinion.

They are really two different issues. The new DPS makes it easier to turn the bars through a low speed turn. The sway bar helps minimize body roll.

If it was me, I'd do them both at the same time since the front end has to be removed to replace the DPS. Once the front end is off, changing the DPS is a piece of cake. Combining the two minimizes the total amount of work.

And remember, my free advice comes with a double your money back guarantee.

I wouldn't go so far as to say replacing the DPS is a 'piece of cake'....mine was a bear for them to get in... took me holding the bars and turning to various positions while the tech wrangled the dps onto the shaft....

I would say its just a matter of choice. You know how it rydes with the DPS you have, so go ahead and install the swaybar. Then you will be able to see what difference the bar makes on your machine. Just my opinion though..........

Yes, I mistyped. I meant the BAR is a piece of cake with the front end removed.

:2thumbs: Thanks for the comments. Sounds like it might be best to have the dealer swap the bars while it's apart for the DPS.

I did the sway bar first because I wanted to see what it would do alone. I got the DPS about 3 weeks later. They work very well together.

You CAN change the bar without removing the trunk, but it's WAY easier if you remove the trunk first...trust me! :gaah:
The trunk is pretty easy to remove.

I'm having the DPS and the Elka shocks installed at the same time. I know this is a bit different, but I'm killing two birds with one stone.

Hey bud you have to do the sway bar big difference go ahead and do it yourself it's easy.

I've already ordered it, so there's a good chance that I'll be getting it in before the dealer comes up with a DPS unit for me. Worst case, I can trailer my :spyder2: if I get into a jam.
