• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OH MAN!

Looks like that is the case. Someone posted sometime back that they were going up 400, and the price is exactly what my dealer quoted to me on Sept. 7th. Oh well... hope the new color is worth the extra.

Looks like their trying to talk me into the base model. Oh well I probably didn't want that $2000.00 dollar radio anyway. Hey somebody's got to pay for all the mistakes they made on the 2010 models.

I am probably one of the few, that when getting an RT, it will be the Bare Bone model. I do not care for any of the gadgetry that so many like.

There's one good thing about getting a bare bones model, less can go wrong with it. ;) :ani29:

I agree. I think you can add stuff later, right?

I like that they are adding more stablility - for less vibration. My husband wants to get a bike (so he can ride with me), but has some serious metal in his back (so vibration hurts).

I like the new orange color, but I like my yellow.:D

The radio is like $650 dollars and they have some other expensive options. Also you can probably pick up some after market items for a lot cheaper.

After 8 surgeries, five for hernia and one back surgery (no metal) plus others it's time for me to start playing a little safer. With a trike I won't have worry about picking up 900 pounds if I drop it. Waaaaa...

:agree: Mine is a bare bones RT with heated passenger grips added as the only option. I'm hoping to ride quite a bit this coming winter and I know that I really like heated grips so I thought it was only fair to get my better half a pair as well. I don't need any of the other stuff.

Same as mine.If I feel the need for options,I'll add them with time.

If I could find some loose change, in a heart beat for the 2011 Basic. Jennifer said, probably 2012.

Hi Kjen

You and Dudley need to hit the open road again on a new ( bare bones ) 2011 RT. We have two spare rooms up here and you are more than welcome anytime .

Wonder if they'd let me trade in the 2010 RTS for the new Limited, but they only have it in white! Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!! Already have mods added to my black one. I'll stick with that. Maybe get me the new 2011 RS as a going to work ryde and keep the RTS for weekend cruises.
