• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was offshore working for 6 weeks..... and FB was taking care of things here at the house... and working my tobacco patch.... pickin ripe leaves.. hangin them in the barn to cure and age.... killin horn worms ... and doing her best to take care of things while I was gone..... son now she sez " I owe her bigtime" .....LOL....
She ordered a BUNCH of stuff online while I was gone: SpYder pegs, Triple play, Tips, Brightsides, Mudflap lights,sYderweb over the radiator vent.... and everything Spyderpops has..rock guard, radiator vent control and air intake under the bike.......
Have been installing stuff the past 3 days!!!!!!!
Working offshore on a ROV boat..... and working at depths to 10,000 ft deep.... I know what it takes to make a weather tight electrical connection.... Had all the goodies hooked up and running..... all electrical connections are soldered and potted...... that is to say.... if the spYder ever makes it to 10,000 ft under the ocean.... chances are REAL good it will not short out...LOL
Hooked up the mudflap lights back to the triple play, and now have running, turn, and brake lights on the mudflap lights....
The spYder looks like a Christmas tree going down the road..... and that is in the day time......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:2thumbs: I told FB..." I think we are even"

It all went acording to plan......until I was making final adjustment to the spyder pegs from kyuyaken (sp) and one of the crap pot metal bollts that hold the peg on twisted off..... I've wrenched enough to know it shouldn't had broken... but it did..... got the remnants of the bolt out, and replaced both with stainless bollts.... really it was probably a good thing..... hate for FB to be depending on the crummy bolts to hold while riding down the road......that was the only time tools flew......other than that it was "G" rated...:2thumbs:

OK here's my 1st video..Spyder with new lights

I gotta tell ya.... if ya do nothing more than change out the rear turn lights to the led pucks...and hook 'em up for running lights. man what a difference....... in the day time, could see them down the road for 1/4 mile in the daylight!!!!!!

Ohhhh Nooooo,,,,:shemademe_smilie:,, don't let FB see that!!!!!!!!:gaah:

The spYder is so visible now from the back, even in the daytime...... I think the next lights will be fog lights up front. When FB is behind me, I can't see her front lights unless she has the hi beam on.

Too late...I saw your clip before hg even started working on my lights....but I would like to know more about your wrap.....how well does it stay on? do you have corners that lift? What do you clean it with, products type? I have found a wrap I relly like....

Mine has been on for about 10 months now. No lifting, peeling, fading, or any other problems with it at all. I believe the quality of the paper is going to make all the difference in the world, and Peter at Spyder Detailing using very high quality paper for the wraps.

I usually use Original Bike Spirits to clean it. When washing I use Eagle 1 Nano Wash and Wax. I have also used Pledge Multisurface, Eagle 1 Nano Wax, and Turtle Wax Ice on it before. There have been no negative impacts from any of these cleaning products.

If you get a wrap, you will have to let us know which one you are getting and, of course, post pictures of it once you have it installed.

My wife has the American Flag wrap on hers.
