• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The stock seat is tight against the 'Y' panel ahead of it and is rubbing off the paint. Can the seat be moved rearwards?

Seat rubbing

My GS has the same problem. I haven't had time to see if it can be adjusted. I would like to know if someone else has had to deal with this.

My 08 has about a 1/2 inch of space between the Y panel and the seat, [no rubbing] so i guess it can be moved back a little.

This morning I made an adjsutment to the seat post that goes into the latch. I adjusted it so the seat is raised a little; in other words I lengthened the post (or whatever it is called). It seems to have helped.

You can try pulling the body panel behind the seat, the seat hinge is there, loosen the bolts and see if it will move back and forth, problem is, if it does, then you get to see if the seat lock will move.
