There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just found out that Cedar Rapids Motorsports (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) closed their doors last week... haven't heard the details, but it sounds like another victim of the economy and since they were only around for a few years, just didn't have the foothold to hang in there.
That sucks. I am sorry to hear that. Who did you buy your Spyder from? Was it them. SO what is your next best option?

I bought mine from Vetesnik Powersports in Richland Center, WI as they had the Spyder line first and I've been stopping there every year on our Wisconsin trip for the past 10 years... but seeing they are 4hrs away I was using CR Motorsports for some service and parts. Next closest option is a Waterloo, IA dealer that I've been told is good, and only about an hour or so away.

3tracs Waterloo is awesome Leers on Fletcher you will not be disappointed I always go there even though CR was closer the service at Leers was so much better, IMHO the CR dealer did the Spyder community no favors, and personally I think it is in the Spyder's best interest to have only excellent dealers. This opens the door for a aggressive dealer to try again in our area.

Thanks Jim! I will definitely check out Leers next time.
I've been trying to get IC Motorsports to become a BRP dealer but they tell me they just don't have the room.
