• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Agree, instruction are weak. It does not help that the parts are black and hard to photograph. The instructions should also be posted on the site so people know what they are getting into. A video or two wouldn't hurt.

Great products though!

OK, got my kit Friday and started installing today. Everything is going great--even got the hidden nuts off no problem--only thing is, I can't figure out where the e-scoup goes. :dontknow:
What am I missing here????????

Remove the bottom plate. Two bolts into center channel of spyder and one torx head at right front of bottom plate. Then, use the template on the top side of bottom plate. The instructions show where to place the template. Once installed, you can see the e-scoop when you look under. That is if I installed properly.

That bottom plate is below the radiator.

I've been talking with Harvey and I think that I've got it figured out. I'll know better when I get home tonight.

 I wish that you had sugested that sooner--it would be great to see you again--but I finally got everything done tonight and will give it a go tomorrow. Thanks again Harvey.
Roger, stay in touch! :chat:

Damn ... I was wondering why I got some rivits left. Thought those were extras. Went home last night and re-read the instruction and see what you were talking about. I think I am missing a piece.:gaah:

I ended up with one extra rivit from the kit but I also put in extras that I had just to be sure. If you have 5 then you haven't gone on to page 2 and put the e-scoop--small black rectangular scoop-- in. It's what the template on page 2 was for. It's not very difficult and goes on the floor section. Only 3 nuts to remove and that panel drops right out. Just don't forget which is the top of that piece and mark it before you rivit the scoop in place. If you don't have the scoop, I'm sure that Harvey will get it right to you, If you e-mail him he's very prompt about getting back to you.
Good luck.

Finally got a chance to work on the instructions and they are now on the website. www.spyderpops.com

Fixed the picture clarity and added more information to make them a little clearer.

It's hard to describe something that you are so used to doing and never think just hard the first time was. I remember turning those screws and then scratching my head, then got the grandson to hold the nuts with his small hands.
