There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Another Phantom female!

retired1

2010 RTS-SE, Orbital Blue
When I went into my dealers waiting room today yo get some coffee, there sat a woman,a helmet and an armored mesh jacket. Since their main business is Sea Ray and Bayliner boats, other than BRP 4 wheelers and spyders I deducted :yikes: that she had a:spyder2:. After talking a little while and telling her about Spyderlovers, I found out that she bought the Phantom that the dealer had and brought it in for the 600 mile service.
I then got to wondering what it was that attracted so many women to the Phantom?, given the number that are on this forum.

Because they are so stealthy looking! :D

Phantoms are the S**t! Of course this is strictly my opinion and I mean no disrespect to any other machine out there. I have seen some machines that dazzle my senses! I have seen Spyders that are on a completely different level. The engineering and innovation are amazing.

Be you man or woman, the Phantom rocks! Most see it as a man's machine I suppose, but there is a certain appeal for the right ladies for sure! I say If it moves you, ride it. Rock on!

I have to disagree. I was riding a Phantom and hated the flat black. Now I have a shiny black RTS and I love it. The flat black looks like you took a can of spray paint and did it yourself. Just my opinion.

As my dearly departed Mum would say..."If you have nothing nice to say....."

Till your black is all scratched, chipped, etc, which the Phantom don't do. Throw all the Spyders together and the Phantom definitely looks the coolest.

Let's face it, whether you are a guy or gal, the phantom is sexy! Black (whether its matte, or gloss) is the new black!

You know what? I completley see how you might think that. And hey, if ya don't like it, ya don't like it!! That's why you are riding that beautiful machine have in your avitar.

For me when I first saw 14 there was something dark and kind of forboding about it. It spoke to me. It just goes to show there is something for everyone! I can say that it does seem to get more attention than the RS-S ever did, even though the paint on the RS-S is just beautiful Go figure...

You are absolutely right about the phantom getting more attention - I didn't know if it was the RS versus RT or the phantom. I can now go most places without attracting a crowd like the phantom did which is great when you are in a hurry.

I really like the phantom....it just looks "top secret". Like someone just rode it off some proving ground race track nestled away in the hills someplace.... I came very close to getting one before I found the one I bought.

It really does - Kinda looks like a stealth fighter! I feel very fortunate to have gotten my paws on one! And I just don't know - I think I really got fortunate with the power plant as well. This engine really seems to be well built. I am not babying this bike at all, and it seems to like being ridden hard. Having the manual tranny is fun too - I like grabbing my own gears. It just ads to the experience! :D

Phantom

I happen to think the Phantom is so cool looking. It's as if when you see it, you don't know what it is but you really want to know. I think they are great! I have a limited edition of the RSS Pearl white and I love it. So to each their own. To all the Phantom riders which I know here are only 500 made last year, Rock On and enjoy!!!

I think my Spyder is stealthy, don't you? I bet mine and 14 would get along just fine. :D

welcome and :congrats: on your RS-S!

Because every woman knows that black makes ya look thinner. ;) Some like a lil black dress.... the cooler ones want a lil black bike.

Uber cool ones are secure in their size and get red. :roflblack::roflblack:

I've drooled over the phantom kit ever since I first saw it so when Marina Boat Sales in Lodi, CA gave me $1500 in accessories, the obvious choice was the phantom kit and I used the rest for the comfort seat which I highly recommend. It's the most bang for your buck if you like the support of the Corbin seat but don't like the price. Personally, I think the comfort seat should be standard equipment. The stock seat (aside from being too soft) is boring looking. It's too big to not have any details stitched into it.

But back to the black, black is the new black which is why I'm back in black.

Wolfen!! Oh yeah, our machines would get along just fine!! In fact, all three would make quite a scene goin down the road together. Of course we'd put the lady in white up front!! Then wow 'em with your rolling work of art; and then I'd roll by and they wouldn't even know it!! :roflblack:

That works for me! :2thumbs:

I also agree with Lunar Rover on the Comfort Seat. Now I don't know how I ever rode without it.
