• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It looks like an easy install

From the picture it looks like the floor boards are a stand alone item, and no other add ons are needed to mount them. Is this correct, or would I still need the brackets-which area bit of a challenge, though not impossible to mount. Of course I had someone else mount everything on my RS. I am not the handiest person around.

The mounting brackets are not required to mount the Rider Boards for the RT. They are required for highway pegs or cruiser boards.

Do you have a "pic" of the ryder floorboard in relation to the clutch pedal on the RTS (manual)? As well as the brake?

Sounds good.

Do they mount using the same place the current peg is? I would like to see the right side so I can see it in relation to the brake pedal. Also what is the estimated cost?

Thanks-I look forward to spending yet more money.

They do mount in the same location as the foot peg. Here is a photo of the right side. The retail cost is $550.00 per set. All hardware included and made in the USA.

Further

I notice that the boards are quite a bit lower than the peg. Can you rest your
floor on the board to brake, or do you need to lift it as was the case with the extended brake pedal ?

It also appears like the floorboard is back quite a bit further than the pegs were. Is that right?

There are two mount positions for the board. The picture shows the board in the lower position. You can see the upper mount just above the board. This would get your foot closer to the brake pedal.

Nice work looks great. My Q is how much more reach do they have for us long legged people looks like they are a lot lower.

Billy

Need to ask I have the Kewlmetal highway pegs on my RTS can I still
mount the floorboards with these on. Here is some pic of them on the
bike.

When the board is in the lowest position it is approximately 1-5/8" down
from the center of the foot peg mounting bolt to the top of the board.
When the board is in its highest position it approximately 1-5/16 up from
the center of the foot peg mounting bolt to the top of the board.
Floorboard itself is 10" long.
Pivot point for the board which is the center of the board is 1-3/4" back
from the center of the foot peg mounting bolt.
There is approximately 3" from the top of the board in its lowest position
to the top of the board in its highest position.
