• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Warranty Question

I for one purchased the BEST extended warranty. It is called "insurance" not an investment....I will be a really happy camper if I never have to use it...I would much rather be ryding...BUT just in case...I'm "prepared"!!!!

:agree:The cost of the BEST coverage is about $300/yr. Liability and collision insuarnce is a bigger expense. In both cases, I hope I don't need it, but if I do, I'll be gald to have it.

I paid $880 for a 3 year term. I had about 1750 miles on the bike when I purchased it. It does have a $25 per incident deductible.
Depend what is in the fine print (what is and not covered)...

I did not get the extended warranty. My warranty expired last January.

I have a nagging feeling (that I ignore most of the time) that those who have gotten the warranty may well prove smarter than yours truely.

I am by far not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I bought the extended warranty. I thought the maintenance (oil changes, etc.) would be worth it. I no longer wrench as I can no longer kneel. It's a pretty good deal for old timers like me.

I looked at the fine print and there are alot of things that are excluded, including the clutch components. After reading what some people have had problems with their clutches, think the BEST coverage is the one I'll go with.
