• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Took a little trip the other day...

just a 2072 mile "slow roast"... did I mention it was hotter than Hades in upstate NY near Sodus Point? On the days it was 98 to 100 there it was only 95 in Florida where I live. Beautiful country :2thumbs:up where the grapes, cherries and apples grow.

Planning on doing it again next year but trying to decide when to do it... May or November? Any suggestion would be appreciated. I need to do when the weather is a little cooler.

Hope you NY folks get some cooler weather soon. Ken krb1945

Thank you we need relief. IMO i would suggest early october leaves are changing and just plain gorgeous. temps maybe low to mid 70's depending where you are in the state. Let us know we may join you? :2thumbs:

I'm glad ya'll are back safe and sound. A ryde to check out fall leaves would be a great trip for Florida SpyderLovers. I have a friend in Quebec right now , and it's hotter there than it is here. Freaky weather:doorag:

Beautiful scenery, good food, lots of sunshine and heat

I want everyone to know that "she who must be obeyed" yelled "uncle" first.

I think most of our problem was ... mother wanted to take the Jack Russel and no matter where we stayed you weren't supposed to leave pets in the rooms. That's one of the rules I try to obey. That being the case we could not tour any of the wineries or other sites. But all in all it was a beautiful country side. I intend to head back up there in the fall... if not this year then next.

I suggest anyone thinking about seeing that part of the country... don't hesitate... go see it... well worth the trip if you love the country side. Me... I'm an ole country boy and I'll give that area many thumbs up... :2thumbs:  and I:clap: your vistas and some great eating places. Ken krb1945
