• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin Contact

Does anyone have a contact at Corbin that actually responds to inquiries?

I have a question/comment on my recently received seat and a topbox I have on order. I've received no confirmation on either order and my inquiries through their website have gone unanswered. Its a bit troubling to throw almost $2k at a company and not be able to communicate with them.

Seat, backrest and topbox added up.

Still not a single peep from anyone at Corbin. I'm quite flustrated!

Ok my post inspired me to call again. I did talk to a rep who gave me a full status update. It's going to be a bit before my topbox is made. Still really looking forward to it- the look fits the spyder quite nice.

They were quite shocked to hear I received no confirmations or return messages. I suggested they look into their online system to see if it's functioning.

dissapointing

I too spent 1500 last year for seats, glovebox etc. Dealing with Corbin was certainly a challange. I am about to order seats for my new ride, but I am steering away from Corbin as I feel I need to give my money to someone who cares about customer service. Good luck

I hear ya. I really want to add the saddlebags, fender and windshield flaring but there is no way I'm going to spend any more money with them. I'll keep my eyes peeled for used ones and finish them to match my ride.

Talk to Scotty...I think he has the Russell (sp?) seat and likes it far more than the Corbin...Scotty (Nancy's Toy) is da man and knows his stuff! Contact him and I'm sure he can give you more details....

I don't have a Russell, but I have owned a bike with one. Best I ever owned, save the Meyer seat I had once! BJT and Dltang have them for their RSs. Seats are a very personal thing. What delights one rider will kill another. Can't really try before you buy, but sometimes you can find a local owner who will let you sit a while, to get the general feel for the brand.
