There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I know some people on here had ordered the AKIO technologies carbon fiber parts for their Spyders and they liked them but I don't know if they ordered from carbonfiberspyder.com. Looking at that site, I'm not sure if that is the site for AKIO Technologies or just a distributor of their product. :dontknow: Have you tried contacting them to see what the holdup is?
EDIT: I just sent off an email to them asking about their shipping times if I was to order their knee pads (which I am truly interested in). Too bad their only contact info is through email, no phone numbers to call.

Yes, I ordered from carbonspyders - got the knee guards, handlebar inserts and the the front trunk piece. They threw in the trunk spring (well made) for free for buying the above 3 products. It took about 5 weeks to get the stuff. It looks great.
I called and talked to them, there was a phone # on their site at that time - over a year ago.

I ordered this product a few months back and it took some time to arrive. When installing the knee panels make sure you clean Spyder panels properly.
Install the carbon knee panels then heat then up with a hair dryer and press on them with a cloth. I installed them on a clean surface at ambient UK summer temperature and the edges started lifting after a day or so, but once heated and pressed down they stay stuck. I have to say they look good, far nicer than BRP's own
