• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP: Free Cap Coupon - WORTHLESS

:agree: I anit stressin about a cap! Although my dealer has NO Can-AM Gear and has no plans to stock any. The parts guys tell me that they can't get any from BRP. Which I believe, as I am learning that BRP has THE WORST customer service approach in the Universe. They simply don't give a :cus:.

It's a shame too because I love my Spyder. But man, problem city! A no-start problem on day 2, a defective clutch that is being replaced on June 30 and now the CHECK DPS light came on while doing a ride throught the woods and out to the coast. All of this in three weeks.

Obviously my dealer in Tulsa Oklahoma (Honda) is in the bad group. Did not know anything about the coupon and offered nothing.

Maybe when I go back in they will have one waiting (I left the coupon with him weeks ago). Maybe not. Maybe he'll tell me its expired. lol

This is why i wish there were dedicated BRP dealers. Maybe someday.

READING THESE POSTS I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE HOOPLA IS ALL ABOUT...IT'S ONLY A HAT FOR GOODNESS SAKE. THEY DON'T HAVE TO OFFER US ANYTHING...

I'VE SPENT MUCH MUCH MORE ON GOLDWINGS, ST1300'S, BMW'S WITH ALL THE FARKELING AND MODIFICATIONS OVER THE YEARS THAN THE COST OF A SPYDER. NONE OF THOSE MANUFACTURERS WERE HANDING OUT FREEBEE'S.

DEALERS PLAY A BIG ROLE IN THE PROMOTION OF THEIR VARIOUS PRODUCTS AND IF A HAT OR ANY OTHER ITEM IS OFFERED THAN IT'S UP TO THEM TO PROVIDE IT, BUT THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO OPT OUT. IF BRP HASN'T SENT THEM A STOCK OF CAPS THEN WHAT CAN THEY DO?

IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS, DOES IT TRULY MATTER? JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION FOLKS.

Then perhaps you can provide free caps to those that BRP has disappointed.......:dontknow:

I think it's comical that they can't even smoothly manage a lousy cap giveaway ......:roflblack:

Here we go again. HDX vs Fly, round 99, ding, ding, ding, ding.

There are platinum dealers to help differentiate them...those who are go the extra effort...have better trained techs, too!

While in Lake Villa, did anyone stop at Nielsens and pick up their free hat using the BRP coupon? We left the Lehman Mansion at 3:45pm, stopped and got an oil change and 2 free hats. I made sure we had the free hat coupons with us on the trip so it worked out by picking them up at Nielsens.

While at the Candlewood, we took advantage of having their tech check both Spyders over. Both of our belts needed the tension backed off and mine neeed to be aligned. The BUDS showed no issues and he adjusted my wife's parking brake. I sure wish we had a dealership like Nielsens close to where we live! What a great group of people.

I know it's just a cheap cap but I think its a point with a lot of people if you aren't going to do it right and follow through with something don't bother doing it.

I wonder if everyone is absolutely sure they didn't get a free hat coupon or did they just miss it? I almost missed ours and Brian didn't even realize we got them. They looked like a business card attached to the inside of a large advertisement flyer for the RT. They were sent out over a month ago now. I almost threw them out without ever looking closely. They were on inside upper right corner, barely noticeable. So you may have gotten one and not known. It wasn't just a mailing for a hat coupon.

Got coupon and took the Spyder in for service work and presented the coupon at the same time. Picked up the Spyder weeks later and forgot all about the free hat. Found the new hat from dealer in the fronk a few days later .... sweet. Dealer is good to their words. I will be back.:2thumbs:

Nielson's was at the Lehman Mansion. Jim Pott's was the dealer at Candlewood Suites. Both offered free service checks. :2thumbs:
