• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's this connector for.

When I was installing the fog light I notices right above the main headlight connector on the front of the dash cover there is a square white plug/female that is not connected to anything, what's this for.

That would be my guess, the unswitched accessory circuit, but it is usually tied a bit lower. Need wire colors (and approximate size) to say with certainty.
Is this the one that plugs into a empty slot around the top of the trunk area? The same 3 amp one you have to install a fuse if you want to use?:dontknow:

There are two accessory circuits, both 3 amps. Usually the switch circuit is pluged into the accessory 12V outlet in the trunk, and the unswitched circuit is left unused. The switched circuit harness is normally tied near the upper suspension bracket on the left side. The unswitched circuit harness is normally tied in the center, near or to the steering column.

That is the unswitched (hot all the time) accessory circuit. The slot in the fusebox for the 3 amp fuse should be empty with the circuit unused.

Thanks Scotty, I was hoping this was it. I have a few led lights I want to turn on when the spyder is not running with a remote switch box and this makes it much easer to connect, wish I could complete the male part of the connector to make it plug-&-play.

You probably can. Check with Powerlet Products. I think they have the matching connector. Probably also available from electronics suppliers. Two separate blade connectors will do it, though, Just tie or loom the wires together and it will be almost as easy as one plug.
