• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can we set a record in Cowtown Spyderfest next year?

Would you want to part of a World Record Spyder gathering?

Yea, what he said! :roflblack:

Oh Ron of the Baja, we missed meeting you in Los Angeles last year. Lamont said you were off running around somewhere. We hope to meet up with you this year in Chicago.

hawkiii

I missed seeing all of you in LA. But I had my Nieces wedding to attend in San Luis Obispo and could not do both.

I'll be there And sure Seth will also we gotta a score to settle with that trip:2thumbs: Oh and Doc winters are long here in Iowa so I will utilize that time to prepare for some aggressive testing,,Will You be ready???:roflblack::roflblack:

Len when I get mine back I'm planning a day trip down to visit Cuba again, just need to finish my trip that was cut short. Give ya a holler before we'll get lunch if you want:ohyea:

School here in Iowa figure 1st week in June, but I'll come whatever the date.
Best family reunion I've been too.

Jim
Jedd you make it any where even close will take off and do lunch, dinner, but yoou up for the night would be great to see you. love the part about the family reunion.......could not of said it better myself....its funny how spyderlovers quickly become family! you guys rock!!!

Where is your adventurous spirit! The call of the wild! The challenge of the unknown!

There can be no Thrill of Victory without the possibility of Agony of Defeat! (Or having to break into your $4000 Bush-Tec trailer with a claw hammer at midnight after an 1150 mile day underneath the security cameras at the hotel :yikes:)

You would throw away the opportunity to meet me..."The Ron of Baja" just for fear of a few bugs on the front and a bit of H2O on the brow? Oh ye of little faith!

Think of the opportunity and potential you will forfeit!

There will be a seat at the table left empty,
A plate with no food there-upon,
A little less joy on our scenic ride,
A little less thrill in our song.

One less friendly hand to shake,
A smiling face not there,
All because of a bug splat or two,
And fear of skies not so fair.

Ah for the days of yester-year,
When men threw caution to the wind,
Setting sail on the stormy sea,
Those days may ner' be again,

Oh doth there yet breathe in the hearts of some,
Who strive, against odds, to overcome,
A Ride to CowTown where all will be one,
To win the trophy of friendship and fun!
(Burma-Ron)
Ron just when I drop my guard a little, you go and do something like this.....love it, that was some pretty funny stuff......do you have to work at it, or is it just that natural????????:2thumbs: Hey after what happen to a certain guy last year......not sure i would want anyone to know I was going to miss........your head might end up on a stick is all i'm saying lol!......you have to find out what that means on your own folks.

I don't work at it too hard. It either comes easy or I don't do it! :D

And your warning about not coming is well put. It takes more than the luck of a 4 leaf clover to keep your head off the stick, as you say! :yikes:

As a guy who actually lives realitviely near the geograhical center of the US I say we have it at my place!....on second thought lets not but I may be in for this its a 6 hour drive for me and to see 600 plus spyders in one place would be awesome as a guy who almost NEVER sees another one.

I will never ride or drive anything without a top, air conditioner, and windshield wipers east of the Rockies. riding in the rain and scraping bugs off my ride are at the very bottom of my list of things I want to do on a bike.

Can I borrow you working spinal cord then?

If we could pull this off it would be a sight to see. I can't even begin to imagine what a 600 bike line up on a ride would look like an average of 50' from headlight to to headlight, so almost 6 miles of spyders! were going to need a big field to take the world record photo!

You'd better bring the Worlds Largest Camara! :D

Lamonster absolutely count us in.:2thumbs: We live 12 miles from Cowtown and get to come home to our own bed what could be better. Not to mention what The Pitbull Buggy would think up as punishment if we didn't show, worse than my head on a stick I'm certain.:yikes:

Sam

:roflblack::roflblack:I like that one too :roflblack::roflblack:
Very good 1 Ron :firstplace:

Jim:thumbup:

As long as you guys keep coming up with great comments I'll keep bouncing my throw-away ideas off of them.

(Some of you give me more opportunities than others! :yikes: )

Count me in. Had a great time this year.Really enjoyed meeting everyone and looking at all the personalized Spyders.
