• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mirror adjustment

Does anyone know if there is any other way to adjust the mirrors other than moving the mirrors. It looks like you may be able to unscrew the arms and move them but I don't find anything in the book about it.:helpsmilie:

My experience with that reveals you just can't tighten the cap screw enough to keep the mirror rigid. One ryder last year suggested putting a star washer on the bolt once you get it out. They don't like coming out too easy BTW. I stuck a 1/4in flat washer under the male hinge and secured the cap screw after swinging the arms out a bit. Works good.

Hope this answers your question.

There's not a whole lot of adjustment in the stock mirrors. We should get together some time and I can take a look and see if they are right to start with. I'm in Mosheim/Greeneville.

...And a shout out for Kewlmetals mirror extensions. 4k+ miles and have had no problems what so ever with them. Just another option for you out there... And they work with the F1 slider like a champ! :2thumbs:
