• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Re-packed the Exhaust

Since this month has been maintenance month. I have to tell you. I needed to re-pack my Hindle exhaust. It was rattling something fierce. Since I had it taken apart, I decided to get it powder coated. I got it back last week, and re-packed it, put it back together, and re-installed it yesterday. I have to say, It looks great and sounds fantastic. I think I packed it a little tighter. It seem just a bit louder to me.

After riding to work this morning. I have to say Wow what a difference.

I will post some picts later today.

Here are the Pics. The Canister is a High gloss black. The Pipe is High Temp chrome/silver. You may not be able to tell but, instead of Rivits I used Stainless Steel (Alen Heads) polished sheet metal screws to re-assemble the canister. The original rivits are an odd size. I couldn't find any anwhere. The heat shields are held on with Chrome Screws with nuts (M6, T-27 Torx)

Unfortunatley, it got dirty already.

Sweet I've been looking at shock options those are 1st class:2thumbs:

I have had them on for 20,000+ miles now. My most expensive mod, but well worth it. Nice smooth ride, easy to adjust.

Cost of mod divded by number of times used, equals actual cost of Mod.

Very nice... looks sharp. I'll have to do something similar as those loose heat shields can be annoying.
