• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Handbrake

ISCI is now taking preorders for the 2010 RT handbrake. We should be ready to ship in a couple of weeks. The retail price for the brake will be $1,250.00 for anyone interested. We do offer a 15% discount for those who are handicapped. This should be on my web site in a few days as well. If anyone has any questions or needs additional information I will be happy to help.

Hey Billy,
How about the other ISCI stuff? Highway Pegs, Platforms, etc. for the 2010 models.

Hello so have you got the ISCI RT handbrake mounted on your RT now or did you just see it at the show in FL. If you have it did you take some pic of the install. Could you post them if you did or the install that came with it. I would love to see the install.
thank you
Robert

I do not have this hand brake on my "loaner" RT. I will have one when I have my own. :doorag:

Hand Brake - Question

Does this sytem hook into the Spyder RT braking system? If yes how does affect the ABS system and computer? Lonnie

The brake operates the the stock system from the handle bar. All three wheels. The foot pedal moves up and down as if you were pressing it with your foot. No mod's to the stock system.

The first batch of handbrakes went out a couple of days ago! For anyone on that list let me know how you like it.

Hand Brake

billy - received the kit and installed it Friday night. Learned one thing that would be a good idea for the instructions. "Don't reinstall the muffler until you have finished the assembly, bleed the system and have everything adjusted. i learned the hard way.

Kit is very nice and looks good. I adjusted the nuts on the slave cylinder as you suggested and the light is off. After I drive for a while it stays on after I turn it off so will have to readjust some more tomorrow.

thanks for a quality product. Lonnie

We have added this note to our instructions. As your brake was one of the first this was something that we overlooked in the instructions. I hope you enjoy your brake. Thanks for your input.

I got my handbrake and installed it with no problems. Hardest part was getting the plastic covers off and on without breaking something.
Hey Billy, are you ready to ship the highway pegs?

Glad you had no issues installing your handbrake. I do not have highway pegs ready as of yet. I do have a small number coming out of the shop hopefully later this week. I have several on preorder.

Here are a couple of pictures that are close to what we will have to offer. The difference being that the peg location will be moved out about 2 inches. The install instructions at this point are not complete.

Are you saying 2" more than the pic's

Billy - we got the brakes on both the RS & RT, over the last two weekends. The latter required far more off color works and blood than the RS - plus took two old guys, four midgets, and one ogre, but it works great. No spider should leave the garage without one… BTW, the RT kit has far more custom stuff than the RS kit, and is, therefore, a better value….

This is the ONLY farkle my friend is going to put on his RT….

I hope both of you enjoy for handbrake kits for many years. Thanks for the kind words.
