• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fog lights

Ebay has the best price around. They are plug and play and not to hard to install. The hard part is routing the new wires. You do have to take a lot of the front plastic off.

If you can be a little patient, ESI has a new set of LED Daytime Running Lamps and Fog Lights they are working on. I honestly believe these may be a much better fit for the Spyder as it will leave the front holes open to get more air to the engine.

Here is a thread with all of the details we have so far (there are only spy photos available at this time):

Oh yeah, Magic Man says no tools will be required to install these as well.

They are a lot of work. You basically have to remove the all the front plastics and the frunk to install it. Then drill the plastic for the switch. Plan on the whole weekend if its your first time.nojoke But definitely doable by the average joe as long as you follow directions well and have patience.

It's hard to be patient...I WANT THESE FOG LIGHTS NOW!!! :D

The new ESI LED fog lights are going to be really cool!

i just picked up fog lights off of ebay for 256 bucks. i hope it was not one of you i beat off the auction.:D

i was going to wait for esi's light but decided to get the brp fog.
i did like the idea of more air thru the engine compartment and not having to spend money of fogs than the hid but brp fog light just make spyder looks so much better and with hid, i think they are more functional than led. in that note, those with 8000k esi hid, do you get any hint of blue at all? i am torn between 6000 and 8000k but do not want bluish tint.

installation is quite a bit of work, especially if you are not used to doing this kinda thing.
my first installation took me 4 and 2/1 hours with help but i think i can do it in 2 hours this time.
read the "how to" few times. it will make things so much easier.
