Spyderfest at Cow Town

I guess that's the official name now. I just spent the day with Len and his crew at Cow Town while they changed the oil on my RT. You know it's a good trip when you need to change the oil three times. :2thumbs:

Len seems like a really great guy and they are all excited to see us here. They have a great time planned for us all and it sounds like this may be a annual event. A big thanks to all that made this happen. I know I'm thankful to be here because of your hard work. :doorag:

I'll post all the pics I take on this thread and they will be posted here Spyderfest.

You know you're in the right hotel if there's a Spyder parked in the lobby. :thumbup:

This is Cow Town. Really easy to see off the freeway.

They had a bunch of Spyders on the floor. Plenty of RT's too.

Yazz (Joy) showed up just as I was heading to the hotel so she followed me over. Nice lady that loves to ride.

Glad to hear you and Yazz made it.. I will be up there tomorrow early afternoon to help Len where ever I'm needed and then enjoy the evening .. I look forward to meeting the both of you...

I am pretty sure they took good care of you in CowTown, They are all really great people :2thumbs:

Yazz already there too, wow, spyders are going to start pouring in from everywhere soon.

CowTown USA is in Cuba, MO. Exit 203, right off Interstate I-44 between Springfield and St. Louis :2thumbs:

Just had lunch with Len and I got to tell you I love this little town. There is a lot of Americana right here in Cuba, who would have thought. :doorag:

The SpyderLovers banner is up but they had to take it down to get a ATV out but as soon as you walk in the door it will be there.

This is our host Len Damouth at Cow Town. This is a really cool stop just down the road from CT.

Yes that is a giant rocking chair.

This is where the chair is. Guys and Gals are going to love this place.

Put a motor on this thing and I be mowing. I guess this is a Spyder mower.

There are all sorts of buildings painted up like this. Very cool.

This is just down the road too, and man do they have great BBQ.

Lots of things are drawing us to Cuba----
You have a ride in the hills promissed---
Good food--
People who want to put a face on spyderlovers posts---
People who want to shake hands for the first and second time.
People have friends they have never met.
We know each other by what we post.
It's the beginning of the riding season.
The timing is perfect

I met Len a year ago-- He is a Missourian-----He will make friends first ---- then later you may or may not be a customer. But you will always be friends.
It just so happens he is a spyder dealer that's making friends from border to border. He has not hesitated to make sure this is a memorable event.
I am glad we met.

BBQ in Cowtown

Hey Lamonster! Glad to hear you made it to Cowtown. Wish I could have come along. I stopped in there last October and met all the folks - nice bunch.
Make sure they tell you about the great BBQ joint in town they sent me to. I don't remember the name of it - looks like an old log cabin, kinda. GREAT BBQ!
Have fun, and be sure to give my love to Brigitte, the beautiful blonde lady that ordered an RTP while I was there, and is featured on my Cowtown video on SpyderFred.

So many kind words and you guys ain't seen nothin' yet!

We aren't the biggest town, but we have a great group of folks who live here and take alot of pride in their hometown. Fortunately, you'll get the meet quite a few of them throughout the events of the weekend.

From a native Cuban (yep that's right born and raised)--Welcome to my hometown! We're just a group of friends you didn't know you had and are so honored you decided to come and visit.

The gang is starting to show up. The crew from FL is here now and I guess they had a long hall, just over 1200 miles without rest. BajaRon made it too. He taking a nap right now. The good news is he brought my ipad with him so I'm loading that up with pics.

This is Mary. She just got her RT and has never ridden a motorcycle before. Within three weeks she went from wanting to ride to owning a RT. Pretty cool if you ask me.
