There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Finally getting in some riding.

After I got my spyder back I was only able to get two days riding in before we got hit with the snow again. Here we had such a mild winter all along and then wham, snow, just when I could ride again. I had a few days this week where I considered riding into work as it wasn't too cold or snowing but didn't because it was snowing and icy when I was leaving for work at 11:00 pm. Finally yesterday, no snow or precipitation expected..YEAH!! I rode to work and it was great. Temps in the low 30's, just enough to get the snow off the roads so I can get out of my neighborhood. My street was still covered as of last night but I just kind of cruised down it without stopping until I hit pavement. So far no nanny kick in and no trouble. The really good news, it appears like I am supposed to have sunshine and low 30's temps and no snow for at least the next 4 days. I will be riding folks. :2thumbs:

I am going to have to check my gas mileage on this rebuilt engine with my next fill up though. My first fill up appears that it will have dismal mileage. I am attributing that to a number of factors. 1. I don't think I filled up all the way, as I was just in a hurry to get my spyder back and ride. 2. For the first 50-70 miles or so, it seemed like the idle was always high and never geared down, even when I downshifted. You know how you can hear the engine change to a low roar, I didn't get that at first. Now it is perfectly normal. 3. So happy to have my spyder back, I have been a little heavy on the throttle at times..:D 4. I have been varying my RPM's and speeds for the engine break in period as well. So, today when I fill up, I will start to keep track of mileage for my "new" engine and keep you all posted.

Just glad to be riding once again. Hope to see some of you this summer if time and money prevail.

Great to hear you are ryding!:2thumbs:
I hope to get my Spyder back tomorrow- the weather looks good and I have 5 days off... please let it be fixed.

Know what you mean, I managed to ride to work yesterday I only had to blow on the thermometer for about 30 seconds to get it to raise from 17 to 20 degrees because as I've stated many times I don't ride below 20 degrees. All my coworkers were glad I was back to normal, some of them were starting to think I was sane. It had been 2 1/2 weeks since I had been able to ride to work I think that is a record for me.

Can't wait to hear that you have your spyder back up and running. It feels good to be riding again.

Thank Scotty, now we just need to get Brian back up and running, hoping to get good news early next week.

Yeah, Mo, wouldn't want anyone to think you were sane...LOL I like that blowing on the thermometer to get the temp up to your riding standards. Anything to get out there aye? Enjoy the rides, good weather is coming soon, I hope.

:congrats:

Yup-- that glowing orb in the sky is out again today.

Went for a ride yesterday (my goal is to ride at least once during every month of the year).

Only pain was taking an hour after the ride to clean the salt dust...:gaah:

Have fun!

Good for you, Deb.
I rode around the arena a bit Monday. Too much snow here. I'd be stuck in the farm driveway.
Spring always has come. C'mon Spring!!

What do you do to get salt dust off, espically off the belly of the spyder.

Today was practically a heat wave. Got all the way up to 42 degree on the way into work. I didn't even put on the Thermosuit, just some long johns under my jeans and my liner in my jacket. It was great. Even saw a two wheeler going the other way on the expressway, first bike I've seen out this year besides myself. I can't wait for the real spring to show up. Of course we have snow in our forecast again this coming week. But at least I got a temporary fix in. :2thumbs:

I just got back in too Deb!:2thumbs: 75 miles or so in February in CT is too good to be true!:D

Glad you enjoyed your ride today, cause I don't know about you but here in Michigan we have another severe weather alert starting tonight at midnight and going until 7p Monday, expecting another 5-8 inches. You will probably get hit sometime Tuesday. Better go back out and ride some more...LOL

I did not ride:(. I would have loved to ride (passenger) but I can't wear a helmet right now - my neck is giving me problems. gotta wait till it gets warmer out so I can be helmletless. Didn't want any weight on my head to mess w/ my neck. But I raced someone in my Charger today - so that was nice:2thumbs:

Sorry to hear about your neck, but so glad you got some smiles in. Don't know how you feel about Chiropractors, but a good one will do wonders for you Kim.
