There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That was the 5K I got. I've got I think 12K now - so do I apply again?

I applied in November. It showed up on BRP's site in December, and I received the 5K pin in early January.
Smylinacha, I do not believe they give out a 5K pin for every 5,000 miles but only for the first one. The next pin level after that is the 25,000 mile one.

That is strange. I just filled out the information on my Profile page on Spyder Ryder, attached the 2 photos they required, and less than 2 months later the pin showed up. :dontknow: I did not receive any communication before then, or since receiving the pin.

I was just there last week and there is a 10K pin now. Just took the picture for that and need to upload on Spyder Ryder. Don't know if I will get my 5k. I didn't get the picture until I already had 9k+ on the odo.:lecturef_smilie:

Where did you find a 10K pin? I just looked at my profile page on Spyder Ryder and it still states 5, 25, and 100 pins. As long as you are over 5K and submit the pictures, they should send you that pin.

Mileage pins for multiple bikes
Just talked with a BRP representative. I put 20K miles on a 2008 and am trading for a 2010 RT-S. Would have liked a 25K miles pin when I got my first 5k on the RT. They said NO. Mileage pins apply to a single bike only. Guess I'll have two wait 1 plus year to get the 25K pin.

Why don't we find our own pin supplier
Since there seems to be so much hassle and time lag with getting an "official" mileage pin from BRP--maybe we should find a pin supplier, and issue our own pins. Anyone know of a place where we can get custom pins similar to the "official" ones?
