• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello everyone. I am considering a new Spyder RT and I have some confusion on the different models. I see the PE model which I assume is the Premium Edition. What is different on the PE from the RT-S? Thanks for your information.

The PE is an RT-S, Timeless Black only. Basically the Premiere Edition was a special edition model, the first 1,500 RT-S models produced. Came with an engraved iPod and an embroidered, nubered seat. You can't order one now, but might find one on a dealer's floor. Our dealer, Leaders Marine in Kalamazoo, Michigan, has one as a result of a canceled order.

For the difference between the models, your best bet is either the dealer and the newest brochure, or the specifications on the BRP Website. Those detail the differences. In short, there is the base RT (in silver). The Audio & Convenience model (silver or blue) which adds audio, heated passenger grips, and electronic trunk release. The RT-S (black or blue) adds rear audio, button-adjustable rear suspension, rear audio, trunk liner, foglights, and a chrome trim package.
